Hi Dan,

Well I've got no input re the lcd but I will throw out a little hope for
your 20".

For the last few years I have been using a 19" Sony Trinitron in KDS
clothing. Been a great monitor but amidst some s900 problems, which I have
yet to completely isolate, my monitor began giving me problems. I couldn't
get it to work either on a Radeon 7000 64 or a Twin Turbo. The degausser
seemed to no longer work as well. So I have had the monitor out in the
garage sitting unused and unhooked for the last two months.

Well, in those months, I have been using a bonifide cheap 17" Gateway
monitor. That one fizzled a few days ago. So now I'm down to a 14" and
it's torture.

But today, I decided to try my 19" in my other s900 and it it worked
perfect. I really can't explain it but for some reason that monitor seems
to be fixed. Gremlins I suppose or maybe it just needed a break to
de-ionize or something. Actually I haven't hooked it up to the machine yet
where it went black, that will be the final test tomorrow when I turn
everything on again.

So I guess the ONLY advice I can offer is to leave the monitor unhooked for
a few months. Not really helpful advice if you need it soon, nor does it
mean your problem is the same, but that's all I've got. Good luck!

Dave
