So I guess the ONLY advice I can offer is to leave the monitor unhooked for
a few months. Not really helpful advice if you need it soon, nor does it
mean your problem is the same, but that's all I've got. Good luck!

It's funny... I guess we all have "voodoo" stories to tell. That's what adds the art into the science of computers. I won't dump the monitor for a while. It's weight alone prevents me from doing anything too easily. This monitor has been on continuously for close to 8 years, with very short shutdowns during maintenance and upgrades, so I guess that I can't complain too much-- but it also cost a lot compared to others in '96-- I think over $3,000 and was being used professionally for the creation of digital images. It's an old friend.


If anyone has a flat screen hooked up to their S900... please tell me about it.
