Are you aware that you can set up SM to export a .html version of your
bookmarks file each time you exit SM aren't you??
In about:config, if you are o.k. with the warning, enter export on the
Search line and you should find "browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML" and
set it to TRUE.
No I wasn't aware of that.
What does the TRUE setting do? Does it replace the places.sqlite file
with the old bookmarks.html?
It creates an HTML file of the bookmarks. places.sqlite is NOT touched
and it remains the file SM uses.
