This is getting pretty obscure, so it might be better to step back here and get some background - what operating system are you using? - after you install, can you find the ebase directory with ebase.exe and all the xxx.103 files? - What exactly do you do when you attempt to run ebase? And further, you might be spinning your wheels anyway. I think I understand from your previous posts that your intention is to do a fresh install to place the system files in their correct location, then copy your current base data files into that directory to enable a secondary installation. If you install ebase version .103, your existing version .102 files won't work with it. The application is a different version and generates a different file format, which is incompatible with version .103. You'll need to find an archive version of ebase.102 for the PC to install to accomplish your secondary installation. Although, I don't see what that does for you that a copy on cd won't. If all you're looking for is a backup, the cd works fine. You don't really want two working copies of ebase in the office. Sure as I'm sitting here, someone will enter current data into the wrong file set. -- -- Dave Shaw H4 Consulting tel: 206-954-7526 fax: 206-625-1338 ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
