I know this has been addressed before, but I thought I'd try to push it a
bit further. The issue is how to enter a common action to a found set
simultaneously. If 50 people attended an event, say.

There is the wizard for batch entering Contacts but not Actions. Dave Shaw
mentioned he exports the record numbers and re-imports them into the Actions
file and then uses the FileMaker "Replace" function to add a common action
for the set. I'm wondering if anyone has gone a step further and created a
script that does this?

Specifically I was wondering if the script for the wizard for bulk entering
Contacts could be duplicated and modified to do the same thing except for
Actions.

Our client is squeamish about exporting and importing; an automated
solution would sit much more easily. Before experimenting, I thought I'd
see if others have already paved the way.

Thanks.
