Subject: [support] Re: setting up a letter schedule

One way would be to create notes for each person you enter, at the time
you enter their names in the database. Include a "due date" for as many
months as you want, separate note for each month. I assume you'll only
want to mail any one person a max of 5 or so times (that's pretty
standard) so you won't need an infinite number of notes. Then, every
day/week/month (depending on how you set it up), do a find for the
relevant "due date" on the Notes summary screen (click the Notes tab on
the Home screen) and that will give you the found set of people who need
to get the mailing. If you use notes for other things, you will
probably need to add a "note" or "task" that identifies the purpose
(something like "Monthly prospect mailing"). Include that in the find
request along with the due date. If you want a constant reminder to
re-send every month, you could put some kind of flag in the "solicit"
flag on Data Entry Screen 1. Or you could always get more sophisticated
with an automated system, but that'd get costly and wouldn't do much
more for you.

Carl
