Thanks, I think they are getting imported right, but I am still having problems with them after I am done importing them. Like before the new records are there until I click "View Payments" then it goes back to an old record. However every time that I open up Ebase The newly imported records are the ones that show up. Again until I click on "View Payments" And Like before when I do this the new records disappear and the old records show up. We were hit with a virus back in November, does anyone think that this could be a problem from that. It had attacked our names file. and went to our back up and got a new version of filemaker pro and of Ebase. and when I did the update I followed the directions exactly.
We are talking about switching to another membership program, Do you think I should wait until we do this, also does anyone out there have any comments about different programs. Bad experiences that they have had. I don't think you're doing anything wrong. I just followed your description and get the same result. I suspect that paragraph was written for version 1.00 or 1.02 and didn't get updated. Review the data and insure that the records got created as you expect. If they did, I think you're OK. -- -- Dave Shaw H4 Consulting tel: 206-954-7526 fax: 206-625-1338 ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org --------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
