If one assumes that a renewal is a payment coded as Dues and with the 
field Member type as renewal, you would find (in the payments file) 
payments with a post date within your range of interest AND Payment 
For = Dues AND member type = renewal. That will give you the renewal 
payments within your date range. Is that what you need?
