  The pcmcia thing, there are dos services for it, unfortuneately win95
doesn't like it if you have them loading in dos, it will make your note book
boot to the
  it's safe to turn off your computer screen.
  First find out what kind of chipset you have for the pcmcia controller.
  See if it supports tcic or what protocal it supports.
  I know of three different software drivers.
  One is databook card socket servises, a second one is card services by
feenix, that's not the way you spell feenix, just what it sounds like, the
third one is also called card services, I don't remember what company
though.
Do a search for:
"pcmcia" "card services" "card socket"
  OK, a few more things come to mind, these are just manufactures:
  system soft
  databook

  I think you can goto the travel pro 5300 section and find the software.
  I think it is "t2x_315.exe" or some thing like that.
