Well if you do get the HP protocols figured, make sure the guys who write
printer drivers (GhostScript) for Linux know about it!
ObWindowsBeingAProperSomething: I always thought Windows made quite a good
doorstop converter (you know, really expensive P]|[ machine with a FTL
processing core, two 4Gb RAM banks and a Cray for backup + Windows =
doorstop). Failing that, it's a proper source of income for tech support
staff.
