Clean them up, reinstall the software, and get them ready to do something
useful as-is then give them to a local charity.  Games for kids, recipe's
for mom, wordprocessing and a dot matrix, internet suite and modem.  there
are families who would be happy with them if you find the right charity to
pass them along, but they have to be ready to go.  Might want to pass your
name/number along for tech support in the future if you are not too busy.
