So this was diffrent on diffrent places around the world then, how
interesting. I wonder why you in the US thought so diffrently (or perhaps
it was here people thought diffrently then from other places?)

That's not the same as they thought it was the new century already. For
instance cars always get out a year ahead - and all the "millenium
products" came out a year before the people in marketing thought it was a
new millenia.

Sure, I'm looking for all the good programs I can find a for a portable AT
right now.
While speaking of that where can I get a pop-up notepad from? My current
one uses 161KB (it has many other things I don't use, I still have the
manual in my bookshelf)
