Actually they did it right (atleast here) back then. So they waited to 1901
before they celebrated. Do you only assume that what you know is the truth
or is there any fact behind (except what some people think now)?

Actually I only use my calculator when I want to calculate something... For
instance it's very good when I want to convert between binary, hexadecimal
and decimal.
