The modem drivers in Windows are not really drivers, instead
they just a list of modem AT commands corresponding to the
features Windows wants, located in INF\mdm*.inf files. The
hard part probably is how to determine which .inf is for what.
As I remember (that was about year ago), I did this by looking
up how Windows calls my modem (via Control Panel/Modems or
System) and using that string to search in INF directory. Init
string and everything else should be in that .inf file, in
some cryptic format. Changes may not take effect until you
remove and install your modem again. If you're using
non-Windows driver, then don't let it overwrite your changes.
In that case determining the name of the .inf file will be
easier too, just look what's on the diskette.
