sadly, I think you may be right. that last war over whether windows could
be discussed here really did damage. I know I go elsewhere now when I have
computer probs because I prefer to use windows and even though my machines
are second hand cobbled junk, they are considered too new for this list.
they're currently both down too, actually, but I'm turning to alternate
resources to do the hardware troubleshooting so as not to get flamed for
bringing up things that don't relate to dos and x86 architecture.
