Sorry for the trouble, that should be happened when the
Listserv went down. There were two noticeable occasions
in the near past:
* Between Sat, 29 Jul 2000 and Tue, 1 Aug 2000
Softcon is OK, only the Listserv died. Travis
restarted it when he realized that he no longer
receive error messages from the lists.
* Between Fri, 21 Jul 2000 and Mon, 24 Jul 2000
Softcon went down completely. For some reason it's
DNS mapping also gone, resulting "bad hostname" when
referred by domain name.
In both case, your postings were not lost, only delayed
until the Listserv restarted. This is possible because
they were buffered at a secondary MX (Mail eXchanger),
most likely somewhere in Softcon's co-location host.
