But thats EXACTLY what those systems HAD that we were selling at the
store! These were fast systems with good parts that were factory built and
installed, shipped preassembled, and sold for far less than other systems
on the market. The people buying them have no idea about anything, often
needing lessons in how to use mouse, keyboard, interface, and all. They
aren't told about it either, they don't know to ask, and you don't
volunteer it. I was shocked when the boss told me and felt quite
uncomfortable that we were selling these to people without telling them
about it.
Avado Systems computers, keep that in mind. The BIOS will not let you
install from a cd other than that sent with the machine. If you lose your
CD you can purchase special software to flash the BIOS for "only" $50 which
will allow you to reprogram to the new CD but this software is NOT included
with the machine at purchase time and contacting the manufacturer is not
made easy.
