Ok, atleast some people here are crazy. Or perhaps it's just me, if so
excuse me for rambling on as some idiot...

1. You can copy (cp in Linux) the docs to the floppy (mnt/floppy or
something like that). No network required (you do need to be able to mount
a vfat or msdos file system on the floppy).
2. You can copy/read the docs from the CD that Linux came on most of the
time. No floppy required, just insert the CD in the other machine.
3. In some other mail you wondered how to install other editors. There are
several already installed. I prefer pine, but I would assume mcedit is the
best for you at first. mc is a clone of nc BTW.
