No, it WAS about samba and with the help of a fellow on ICQ i finally got
it working right last night.
Unfortunately, it knocked the w98 box off the net, you could ping into me,
but not out from, something went wrong with the ip forwarding. I have 2
nics in this machine and the intention is to have the LAN and the internet
fully isolated from each other.
The only way to get back onto the net was to axe the secondary nic so I'll
have my work cut out for me today, trying to get both nics and two ips
running smoothly.
