That's no use if you're behind a firewall blocking X connections,
unfortunately. I think you might be able to get away with tunnelling the
traffic through ssh or somesuch, though. Bit of a kludge when you can run
an editor in a telnet if you took the effort to learn one...
As an aside, before Windows turned up on the 'net, there used to be a host
of websites that'd tell you to open your X server to traffic from their IP
and then show various things in little windows for you (things like share
prices, the weather etc.).
