Except for any that are there anyhow. Which probably includes...

The only point is that sometimes an 'ugly' editor such as vi is your only
available option, and only knowing a "full-featured" editor can be a
challenge. Not unlike the benefit of knowing edlin/edit or (God forbid) copy
con: If you're on a network and have a full, functional system and GUI
available, BY ALL MEANS use it for Pete's sake. And if you're adept at
whipping up remote x sessions, hey all the better. In the meantime, when
something's gone wrong and you just need to twiddle a config file to get
back online...
