This document has been provided since AT LEAST > version 5.1. All they sent me with RH 5.2 was the "Installation Guide". P172 faces 'Getting Technical Support', and cites the website: http://www.redhat.com/sujpport/register ... which I wouldda done, but of course, the problem I was having at the time was that I could not get online. Then too, there's the floppy problem: A)bort, R)etry, f)ail that dos gives you when it has a problem. But when I did the right thing during the RH 5.2 install, and agreed to have a 'rescue' floppy made... and then that particular floppy didnt read properly, RH 5.2 crashed completely and wiped out two hours worth of install. Maybe Bob, all the shit gets sent to me, I really dunno. But from what I can tell, the lack of error trapping in the RH 5.2 install scripts was appalling. And if that is not irony enough, when I did get online with Mandrake 7.0, which went as smooth as warm butter, and posted my complaint to RH, they not only did not repond to my email, but added me to a spam list. You can down download DRDOS 7.03 at several places and never get spam from anyone much less Caldera.
