That could be as you say. I appreciate everything you have said,
especially the spirit involved.
I hope that nobody sees my comments as being anti Window-Eyes. I used
Window-Eyes since the days of Windows 95 all the way up to the demise of
GW Micro. I, too, wish that they could have survived.

Hello Lynn. I agree with you that we shouldn't call anybody names. I think the
problem with FS that people have is the fact they have a stranglehold in
education and and the fact you have to pay extra for home and pro. That was one
of the reasons I went to Window-Eyes. But yes, they were indeed running out of
money, even though Window-Eyes had been around for 23 years, and the lawsuit
that FS filed contributed to this..

I don't get calling a company such silly names. I have always wished
that they would be subscription based. You will spend the same money
but in smaller bites.
It's understandable that subscriptions aren't for everyone. When
Microsoft started such programs, I don't recall calling their approach
the names that you call Freedom Scientific.
Plus, we all forget that, as great as Window-Eyes was, they simply were
running out of money.

Hi Folks,
I recieved an email this morning and it informed me that jws is going to become
a subscription based product. Now it all makes sense, getting rid of the
opposition first. No or very little competittion. This will be interesting how
it is going to work?
I'm not going to say how I feel inside but needless to say corrupt, evil
sociopathic Narsasists come to mind.
I genuinly and sincerely hope that as many blind people don't subscribe.
Live long and prosper, John
