Most of it is answered by others and I thank them.
1. Do you use a sig del?
2. There are always options and possibilities in a software one will
discover only with time. My comment about usage was a (slightly
overdone) comment out of experience especially with OE users.
To elaborate a bit on the last point: I really want software that is
self-explanatory, easy to use and does what the user wants it to do.
Since over time the "standard" programmes have developed more and more
features (demanded by buyers) they are far from my ideal. Some
companies have decided to set defaults that are non-standard, annoying
or plain dangerous. Additionally people in offices use computers as a
tool to do work which has nothing to do with computers. Most of them
don't know how to find the options and don't know anything about it.
A girl friend of mine had to change computers in the office, sent me a
superfluously HTMLed message and needed her sys ad to change this -
yes! - stupid option in Outlook. It took a week.
Sorry for all this wasted time and bandwidth; I hope this cleared up
some of my "ranting" lately.
