I haven't consumed *that* much manager kool-aid yet. :)

There are more than a few companies that are very successful 
in a business sense without having a "healthy culture," and where 
conformity and kissing up are more successful as advancement 
techniques than what you or I might consider good management 
practice.  I've escaped one or two of these places by the skin of 
my teeth.
