And speaking of indexing, I've got two dedicated indexing references on my desk:

Mulvany, Nancy C. (1994) Indexing Books. University of Chicago Press.
ISBN: 0226550141

Bonura, Larry S. (1994) The Art of Indexing. John Wiley & Sons. ISBN: 0471014494

I also have The Chicago Manual of Style (14th ed. -- 15 is at home)
and Microsoft Manual of Style for Technical Publications (Version
3.0). They have sections on indexing.

What other references are out there on TCP member desks?
