I'm still very unhappy with my recent experience with STC re: _Technical Communication_ journal.
Wrote to the editor to complain that the typeface was so small and busy, and the layout was so crowded, that I literally could not read the thing. To his credit, he did respond quickly. Unhappily, his only response was to tell me that it had won several publication awards. This did nothing to address my customer complaint that _I COULD NOT EVEN READ IT_. To his credit, he did offer to look at the old copies I cited for samples of great layout and readability. He did insist that I produce those copies, and it hasn't been worth the time to me to look them up, scan them, etc. Doesn't he have access to archive copies? I'm sticking with STC but wow she ain't what she used to be. Dori Green ______________________________________________ Author Help files and create printed documentation with Doc-To-Help.
