Nothing particularly technical...

• Finishing up editing a nonfiction book (public policy) for a
self-publishing author (he does a lot of speaking and this is a
back-of-the-room book, so he'll make money on it). Next step is design
and composition.

• Just finished editing a religious tract (a back-of-the-room book for a
lay preacher). Next step is composition (furnished design). Second book
on the way following that.

• Three-fourths of the was through a developmental edit of a third-party
software manual for a major publisher.

• Handling US logistics (mostly minor clerical tasks) for a Panama-based
author whose philosophy tract I did the composition on and which was
just shipped from a printer in Hong Kong yesterday.

• Putting together queries to literary agents on behalf of the author of
a self-help/spiritual book.

• Have a novel ms. on hold for editing until I get a chance to dig into it.

There are also half a dozen other potential clients who have promised
(for what that's worth--no checks yet) that they want to work with me
when they finish tweaking their manuscripts. One or two of them might
materialize.

So I've got no complaints.
