I don't think it was. I think people are going to see it as a continuation of your shock at finding out that employers have zero financial motivation to pay for continuing education. Personally, I understood the shock, and was glad for what some might see as naivete but I see as a very optimistic innocence.
There are those of us out here who have no problem with what you're doing. There are others who are skeptical and critical of anything that seems to lead toward subversive conclusions, and they're motivated by fear.
