Might as well throw in my two cents. I was looking at doing the whole hybrid
scenario but decided against it. Instead, I went with the VW Jetta Diesel. I
average 40 city 50 highway. Truth be told, I'm not easy on the accelerator and
the car has a lot of get up and go. Plus, I won't have to replace about 3 grand
worth of batteries in a couple of years, nice bonus. At times, I wish I had the
bigger vehicle, large 3/4 ton truck would be excellent, but I have the ability
to use one if need be. I was a diehard GM customer until I rode in a VW, I
really don't think I will ever be going back to GM car, Truck yes, Car no.
Thanks,
Jared Lynn
