ok, so it is then reasonable to assume that since Supes is JUST VULNERABLE
to Magic, and that Thor derives like 100% of his power form the Magic in
Mjolnir, that if Thor, who is one of the STRONGEST characters in the Marvel
Universe puts everything behind a swing of Mjolnir that Supes SHOULD NOT be
able to simply 'catch' the mighty blow?

no that isn't reasonable and Cary is correct, bad writing takes the day
here.
