It's kinda funny, Shag-- I was on a panel with McDevitt at a little con in North Carolina a few years ago, and at that point I'd never heard of him. But I enjoyed the experience so much (we talked the mechanics and contradictions and story possibilities of time travel until my head nearly exploded) that I picked up a hardcover collection of his short stories at DragonCon later that year. Good stuff, yeah.
