I do not agree with you:
1. Linus Torvald never said "Guys I am selling Linux. Please contact me if you
are interested". So, he is entitled to ignore my repeated e-mails.
2. Look on this forum and on OpenERP website. Obviously the current focus of
Tiny company is not to have a complete product but to sale "partnerships"

I am watching this software more than 18 months now and it is not yet ready for
use in manufacturing. It lacks essential features (cost estimation, cost
control, scheduling, etc) and ... no development.

Because I think the OpenObject is a great idea I tried a partner. The cost to
develop missing essential features plus some customizations will run over
$300,000 which is about 4 times more than a complete implementation of JobBoss.

At this point I do not know which is worst: lack of customer care or
prohibitive costs. I just fail to see a long term success here, but I am
patient. Anyway, almost sure they lost a customer here ... or maybe not - I am
not interested to buy a partnership.

Daniel
