>>rvalyi Ok, I think I have got you close to understand my point of view.
Still I am not talking of emerging/eastern countries - I am talking in general about partnership. Tiny have to pay all the other expenses from the money they earn from support - that is why it is costly - it should be clear after all. To my mind Partners should have their own trained personnel, because I can't imagine a developer, integrator or consultancy company that will rely on external uncontrollable expertise, moreover in such a small system (amount of code is very tiny :) ). Now Fabien states that there could not be quality partnership without using their support. I do not see why? Anyway couple of thousands are not so big money after all, to get worried of. Again I am talking in general, Personally I dislike bundles where I am forced to buy something I do not need, when it is packaged with essential things. It is a matter of free spirit. After all we do not need a support with which Tiny seems to have problems - they just have no time to talk to everybody. To my mind, if I pay for a Partnership I state commitment to sell services, and have right to use TM, right. If I will need I will get support for money. Then it would be able to decide what is "cheaper" to have seasoned stuff on our own or use Tiny's people services. Anyway it will render to employ your own personnel. It would be better to the Tiny too, because they will bee earn more money, just selling virtual goods (like TM), and will potentially be able to earn more money for support, if somebody needs it. Now I am pretty sure that if we would buy Partnership, even the first stage, we will not be able to use up the hours of enclosed support. Just because if we are clear where the problem is, we are able to solve it on our own, and that is only normal if you have skilled colleagues, and plan to provide services for other companies. Anyway that is what I have been writing on this forum - business tools could not be free, but that's where open source should provide solution - it should be cheaper on the cost of license fees. But definitely the final product should not be more costly than proprietary software integration. P.S. It still seems that a lot of partners that are stated in the list are actually end users of the system, maybe they do some slight inhouse customization for themselves. Just look what they state they are doing (in many cases no sign of OpenERP at all), and what are their main business. That is why they actually do not care for trademark, because they are not providing services or solutions if you wish so. sraps -------------------- m2f -------------------- -- http://www.openerp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=26381#26381 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman/listinfo/tinyerp-users
