Guys,

Let me put my small contribution here by sharing my own experience with Tiny.

I was exactly in the same situation that ralead a few months ago (excepted that
i didn't requested any quote for own development). I sent several email or
filled in contact forms to Tiny but never got an answer. This is quite
annoying, i've to admit. So i posted some questions on this forum, gave some
phone calls, etc... and finally got an answer to all my questions.
On the other hand, i did the same before with Compiere and got an answer 14
months later... so not really better.

So, of course there is a big room for improvment on partner/customer
relationship from Tiny. But knowing the current situation, i can understand
why. I just hope they'll work on that in the future.

Finally, we became an OpenERP official partner, are working on it, and this in
close relationship with Tiny. And i definetely prefer this way of working
compared to all the other commercial approach where you've 5 people at your
disposal to convince you to buy a licence, but no one anymore as soon you
bought it and want some additional support.

Also, based on what i know of OpenERP (not an expert, i agree) it's hard for me
to beleive such a development would cost € 300.000. I also think you should
request another quote to another partner.

Hope this help.
