This proposal will work only for original English to en_GB (or en_US) as most will be the same and only a part needs correction. This is much simpler then translating to a total different language.
All other languages that must translate from English to their own language, still have the original English that is thus not the correct one. This will make translations not easier. I still suggest to solve this issue where it is originated, thus into the source.
