Hi all.

I managed to get the Iris mote to work with the IPBaseStation and blip
driver, but quite a tricky way. I am using a mib520CA programmer for
communication interface. When i plug the programmer in and attach the mote
onto it the led2 will light. But when starting the driver on pc the led
light goes off, or even before all flashes up then go off. After this using
the programmer's reset switch does not seem to help, just detacthing and
reattaching the mote. In this case the led2 turns on as default. I even
tried doing this with disabling all the leds and just enable one specific
led in the Boot.booted event. I always got the same result. After strarting
blip driver, the mote halts, that means it does not reboot itself, and i
can't do that either manually using reset switch. Now the tricky part. If i
don't attach the mote to the programmer but start the blip driver on pc that
tries to iniciate communication i wait for 1 or sec while the driver tries
to initiate communication with the mote. Then i attach the mote and the blip
is functioning properly. I can even login via telnet onto the mote and if i
want to i can even reset the device using the programmer's reset switch.
What can be so spoiled in the IPBaseStation that the mote does not accept
even the hardware reset if the first (standard) case?
The phenomenon can be reproduced using unmodified, official tinyos app
IPBaseStation and blip driver.
Have someone experiancing this reset problem? Does anybody have suggestions
for solving this issue?

Regards
Zsolt
