Pam, I don't disagree in principle. If students leave things to the last
minute, it is on their shoulders that the minute has run out. On the
other hand, how many times have we scholars missed our assigned deadlines
for reviews, proposals, rewrites with a host of explanations, rationales,
and excuses offer to ourselves and others. Just an annoying thought.
