I won't try for a top five... my first two recommendations are Psychological Science and Current Directions in Psychology. I frequently use short report from Psychological Science in my classes. The second journal is really aimed at us (teachers of psychology), but I think that the presentations are accessible to most students and they provide thoughtful if short reviews of some of the more interesting and "hot" questions in Psychology. Both of these journals cover a very wide range of areas so they should be appropriate for a limited collection. Dennis
