I would also recommend these two journals, for the same reasons that Dennis gives here. In addition, undergraduate APS student affiliates ($35/year, $56/year for graduate student affiliates) receive these journals: (from the APS website, www.psychologicalscience.org)
"Student members receive the journals Psychological Science, Current Directions in Psychological Science, and Psychological Science in the Public Interest. Student members also receive the Observer, APS's news publications published 12 times a year" Paul Smith Alverno College Milwaukee -----Original Message----- From: Dennis Goff [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, March 11, 2004 11:51 AM To: Teaching in the Psychological Sciences Subject: RE: Top 5 Psych Journals I won't try for a top five... my first two recommendations are Psychological Science and Current Directions in Psychology. I frequently use short report from Psychological Science in my classes. The second journal is really aimed at us (teachers of psychology), but I think that the presentations are accessible to most students and they provide thoughtful if short reviews of some of the more interesting and "hot" questions in Psychology. Both of these journals cover a very wide range of areas so they should be appropriate for a limited collection. Dennis bç.®·§¶\¬¹»®&ÞvÚ-±ªÜ+Þ¦è®èº{.nÇ+·¬zwZnV§é[hæ¯zس;Ñf²éß-nêàyÛ
