Well, I'm not so sure that browsability is an important 
consideration, especially when resources are limited. I think it's 
more important to avoid duplication, whether by on-line or hard copy. 
I've pushed this point of view within my department, with some, but 
not complete success.

So I'd say if you really want our advice, you should list _all_ the 
journals your students have access to, including those on-line. Then 
we could suggest what additional journals you might subscribe to 
where your coverage is deficient.

Nevertheless, if you want a journal which students will be able to 
use for browsing (and one which I know isn't available on-line), I'd 
suggest _Psychological Reports_. I know it's sometimes disparaged but 
its contents are more readily understood by students than, say, 
_Psychological Review_. More important, it contains a wide range of 
short studies along the lines which students themselves could carry 
out, and so would be particularly useful for browsing.
