My humble advice: I'd also speak in favor of the psi chi journal and maybe something like Modern Psychological Inquiry or some other student-driven journal TO REPLACE PSYCH TODAY! These journals will have 'slightly' less high-powered papers, such as JEP might have but they will be much more accessible to students.
So if you want hard copies for them to peruse that's what I'd go for in hard copies and then maybe some general psych journal hard copies, like the flagship APA and APS journals.
