The guy on the phone at Verizon also said it would work withOUT a box.
But when I tried it, NOTHING...
I called the next day, and they said, "oh wait, in THAT area it is totally
digital, and it will NOT work withOUT a box...
So, we got her a little box, the size of a woman's wallet for $1 less that
a normal box. It just doesn't have a guide which is fine with TiVo....
Used rubber bands to hold the IR blasters, and laid it on the floor behind
the TV...
Works GREAT,
Ron
