My Mother who has the Series 2, just called me and said, Verizon just set
her up with Fios TV.

A couple of years ago when I connected everything for her, she had Comcast,
with No box, just the cable directly to her Tivo, and split to her TV...
Worked fine and she loved it.

But now with the newly installed Motorola HD QIP 6200, they ignored
connecting the TiVo, she said it just has a blue screen...

So, I plan on going over there and setting her up with the IR cable. (I had
mine setup that way for a long time, before my cable card-ed Series 3)
She MAY not like that setup, for some of the obvious reasons...
So my question is:

Can I connect this box directly to the TiVo (for channel changing)?
I remember someone saying Motorola/Comcast has this feature shut off. Maybe
not so with Verizon??

Also I was wondering does FIOS allow a TV to be connected withOUT a box?
(like Comcast allows)...

Thanx,
Ron
