Is it possible that DirecTiVos might be affected too? This has happened to
us recently on two channels within the space of about a month, and has never
been a problem in the preceding several years that we have had the
DirecTiVos.

All - i just got an email from Tivo to take part in research on the
Tivo Series 2 - for the person who posted the timing/recording problem
if it's a series 2 this is a blurb from tivo: "We have had some
reports from the field that the TiVo clock is drifting. This is
causing customers to lose the end of their programs."
