MZ, I'm a little confused here by these two messages. Are you saying that the WEP key has nothing to do with the TiVo and TV in one and in the other that if you enter the WEP key on the proper screen then it WILL work? So the WEP key will affect this CC problem or not?
Please help me to understand, because they are talking right now to TiVo tech and still having more problems. The Tivo tech is telling them to use an M card with the S3. >>Not on the TiVo - but there are different input screens. You have to tell it if you're entering a passphrase or a hex key. If you enter the hex key on the passphrase screen it will simply never work. You need to enter the WEP hex key on the hex key input screen. Maybe that's why it isn't working for some - being on the wrong screen. -MZ > So would this WEP setting intervene with the cablecards? The WEP key is just for the WiFi and doesn't involve anything else. It won't cause any of the recording issues you've reported. And it has nothing to do with the CableCARD. -MZ -- megazone-at-megazone.org http://www.MegaZone.org/ Gweep, Geek, Human, me. http://www.TiVoLovers.com/ http://www.Eyrie-Productions.com/ -><- Hail Eris "A little nonsense now and then, is relished by the wisest men" 508-852-2171
