If the M-Card acts the same as the S-Card, then why not just use the S-Cards to start, and why need the M-Card at all if you have the S-Card.
I'm confused...I have the TiVo Series 3 Digital Media Recorder. It is also High Definition. Model TCD648250B. But it sounds like you are talking about two separate TiVo's that are HD. I thought the S3 was the only HD on the market, as I have the S2 also and it is not HD. So which one do I have and how many cards will it require? Sandra If you use M-Card in the S3 it needs two of them. M-Cards fall back to acting like S-Cards when used in devices that do not support multistream - like the S3. (The TiVo HD supports multistream and can use one M-Card, the S3 does not and needs two.) -MZ -- megazone-at-megazone.org http://www.MegaZone.org/ Gweep, Geek, Human, me. http://www.TiVoLovers.com/ http://www.Eyrie-Productions.com/ -><- Hail Eris "A little nonsense now and then, is relished by the wisest men" 508-852-2171
