To Sophie and all the maddies
I totally agree with u - madness are an example of a
band and a group of mates who have stood the test of
time where others have fallen...
The defenition in my opinion of a band includes then
actually PLAYING instruments - with some of today's
'bands' not even getting that far...
Is it just me or do all of today's songs sound mostly
the same? The all fall into one of these categories:
1. a 'poppy happy' song for the 8 year olds to dance
to
2. a trance/house/garage no (it all sounds the same)
3. an american song/duet/rap that was only popular cos
THEY thought it was
4.a one off by a group u'll never hear of again
It's all rather sad - i only wish i had been born 20
years earlier....being 15 now isn't much fun...I'd've
love to have gone to a madness gig the 1st time
around...
