Sorry...must add to this great e-mail...
Being 14 and still at school I have sheep all around me. The other day in
our music lesson the teacher played a reggae song not unlike That Man Is
Forward...everyone cracked up..
What is wrong with everyone..all they care about is having a boring
repetitive totally-computerised sound...
And as for how much they write..
I have been ill recently and was watching some awful modern pop music
show...and they actually said..I take this word for word..." Yeah, it's a
marvellous achievement that she wrote some of her songs on the new album.."
As I think it was Becky put it...achievement.....I'd be f***ing ashamed of
myself.
When modern pop "stars" were on A question of Pop with the great Suggsy they
were acting as if they were just as good a musician as him. I bet they woul
never be able to write anything as near as complex as "Waiting for the Ghost
Train" or write any decent lyrics...
And I think that Mark...Woody or any other memeber of Madness is one hundred
times better looking then anyone in the charts..."h" is yuck, yuck and
YUCK....all slimely looking (they all are)....
Anyway...now that I've got one of my favourite subjects off my chest I'll
shut up...
However there is good Madness realted news...
My best mate Alex has, on hearing my albums and watching Young Guns and
stuff with me, has decided that she prefers Madness to A1 and that Mark
Bedford is millions times better than modern pop stars...(she fancies him!!)
Anyway...long live the Nutty Ghost Train...
Suzie
"People say that I'm crazy"...
Well of course I bloody well am!!!
PS Did Alex's introductory e-mail get through????
