I forgot Touch streams 24/96 over spdif SB3 don't thats why I upgraded . And to be honest in my experience spdif transport related problems like jitter etc is a threshold phenomenon .
Once it's "good enough" for your processor or DAC from thereon differences are subtle or non existing . But the better safe than sorry , there is som many diffrent DAC's out there who can say whats god enough, this improved technical performance makes it more likely that Touch is a "perfect" tranport's for more people and DAC's than the SB3 was .
